Motivational Monday #8

Have you ever used the number of candles on your last birthday cake as the reason you couldn’t achieve one of your dreams? I’ll be honest – my age used to be one of my excuses for not having the success I desired until I realized age really is just a number….

Check out this week’s video for proof:

At just six years old, Connie put all her fears aside and jumped way out of her comfort zone to achieve her goal of becoming a singer! Her ambition, drive, and (of course) talent are phenomenal! If you’ve read The Unemployed Millionaire, then you are familiar with my formula for success:

SUCCESS = Your Skill x Your Effort

Connie is very young, but she has the skills and put in the effort needed to attain success as a singer. As long as we are willing to improve our skill level through constant personal development and have no problems with putting in loads of effort, we can achieve success AT ANY AGE!

Since 2010 is right around the corner, I’d love to hear how you are plan to make this year your breakthrough year in the comments section. Feel free to share any questions, suggestions, or other random thoughts!

If you missed the 7th edition of Motivational Monday, you can watch it here: Motivational Monday #7.

    Absolutely Amazing!!

    Not discrediting Connie’s fear…

But, Why is it that the older we get, the more difficult it seems to overcome fears that hold us back from our full potential?

    Loving Your Book Dude,
    Bryan

      Conditioning my brother! :)

You have 30+…I mean 10+ years of conditioning of staying in “your comfort zone”…so it “feels” harder to get out! :)

Check out the one where Matt shows the bridge behind him…

Expand that comfort zone just once per day…

Our actions become our habits, and our habits become our destiny.

You were born to be FREE from fear my brother!

Love you Bryan! (and you too Matt!)

Bryan, so true! I look back even to my high school years and I did things that would make me cringe now, but back then, nothing could hold me back! Why do we become our own worst critics the older we get? We should instead become our own #1 motivational coaches! I think that’s going to be my ongoing goal for 2010. Karla, you go girl!

well done, so one goal for 2010, is to discard, simply delete the cultural fears from our decade from hell! We have bridged the abyss.Leave it behind. We can be the change….. let’s just do it, and do it and do it. Thanks Matt, looking forward to your visit in January, shine on, rg

My goal for 2010 is exactly what your 7 secrets to 7 figures program says Matt.

I’m going to put in massive action to get massive results.

If I’m honest with myself and look at my activity, I could call it high but not massive.

2010 is the time to go massive.

you, Jason Cardamone and his downline is what made me this far and still hanging here in the internet :)

Still working on that comfort zone and the Murphy’s Comittee.

      Hey Richie!

What made you to where you’re at is YOUR burning desire for success and you expanding your comfort zone.

I believe all of us will ALWAYS be able to expand our comfort zones indefinitely. (Well…maybe not Dennis Rodman…) :)

I appreciate you Richie! Keep driving to reach your God-given potential!

Recently realized the reason I have struggled with being so depressed the past year is I have been tying my self-worth to my net-worth. As my income went down so did I.

Listen to and practice the teaching of Earl Nightingale in “The Strangest Secret” everyday now. Awesome teaching along with Matt’s recording “7 Secrets”.

    Thanks for sharing Matt.

Like what you said in your book, you need to constantly look out for role models and copy their concept, thinking, habits, strategies and you will be able to achieve similar success.

I’m doing that daily and I believe i will become a millionaire soon…
