The Unemployed Millionaire Show: Episode #7

In the second part of the Table Mountain two episode series, I share the secret of all secrets to success. Maybe I should have waited for Episode 100 but this secret is way too valuable to wait that long! Take a look…

Please enable Javascript and Flash to view this Viddler video.

The most valuable secret to success is getting up more times than you’ve been knocked down!

How did I overcome being $100,000 in debt to building a company worth over $20,000,000? I just decided to get back up and keep going!

I made the decision to keep going every day, first thing in the morning, until I made it to the top. I didn’t link pain with failure as an entrepreneur. I linked the pain normally associated failure to the pleasure of gaining more knowledge and becoming one step closer to achieving success.

I hope you’ve enjoyed watching Episode #7 as much as I enjoyed making it. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the show’s new tag line: The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Lifestyle Freedom! See you at the top! ;)

P.S. If you missed the last episode of The Unemployed Millionaire Show, watch it here: Episode Six.

Wow, “see you at the top” Cape is the best, and the words of inspiration you have said, are the words i have long wanted to hear. Stand up, dust yourself and go. Winning is not for the strong, it is for you to finish what you have started even if you are the last one to arrive. This is great

    Hi Matt,

You’re definitely one of my heroes. Thanks for all the motivation and pearls of wisdom you keep throwing, so that other people can learn, grow & achieve themselves.
Regarding new tagline, it might just be a coincidence but i actually myself wanted to convey that ‘unemployment millionaire’ need re-branding..Somebody not knowing you i.e. not having read your book or read/viewed your posts might not really understand what this is About…
So, the tagline “The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Lifestyle Freedom!” is DEFINITELY much better and suited..Not sure if it’s the Best but it conveys the right message.

    Thanks and keep going…

I have a blog post planned for that exact quote from Rocky. I’ll be sharing the specific impact it had in my life when I was at one of my lowest points.

Hi Matt! I don´t speak fluenty english, but I want to say some things about your experiences that I am trying to understand and learn, because this is the most motivating issue in our lifes, the continuous growing in our mind, spiritual, emotional and phisical for a better life, and I think you are a excellent guy for teching us a way of life very powerful and very excired, I live in México and I have very much doubts about how can learn more of your experiences, if I need to learn more english, reading your book or I do’nt know if there are other oportunities for be part of your way of life, that to anyone must be too much motivating, admirating or even cause some envy; you know the human nature, I want to appreciate that you share with all of us part of your life and I wish you continuous doing for a long time. Hi Matt,

Thanks for the reminder. I was recently knocked down, but now I intend to keep trying. Even though, with having dial up internet service, I was unable to view the video because it takes to long to load, I was inspired by the words you said below the video.

Take care and keep giving us these golden nuggets.

Excellent tag line, and it is truly the goal of most of us following you. We may say it’s the money, but what we’re really after is truly FREEDOM.

Hey Matt, like the new title. That’s what is all about.

Financial freedom can be summed up in that title. The Entrepreneur’s Guide to Lifestyle Freedom!

BTW, I’ve certainly had my share of being knocked down, divorce, bancruptcy, job loss, death of loved ones.

But, thanks be to God, I always found a way to get back up and to stay in the fight. Anyway, if you stay down on your back too long, you’ll get bed sores, ouch!!!
