The Unemployed Millionaire Show: Episode 12

The major difference between successful people and the average person is that successful people believe in themselves, their abilities and their faith so strongly that they know without a single doubt that they’ll achieve their goals.

If the only major difference between successful people and the average person is their personal belief system, would you say it’s time for you to learn how to start believing in yourself, your abilities, and your faith?

Creating a super unshakable personal belief system was my first step to success so I dedicated all of Chapter 3 of The Unemployed Millionaire and the next 3 episodes of The Unemployed Millionaire Show to sharing how YOU can create the same belief system starting with The Law of Consistency…

There’s an important law of human nature called consistency… it states that we have a natural urge and tendency to remain consistent with who we think we are.

The Law of Consistency means you absolutely MUST stop allowing yourself to entertain negative thoughts. Only allow yourself to use “I am…” at the beginning of positive self-affirmations like: I am a millionaire, I am fit and healthy, I am wonderfully good-looking, or I am the most talented (insert your profession here) in the entire universe!

After you repeat positive self-affirmations over and over and over again, your sub-conscious mind will start accepting those affirmations as true which will enable you to start living the life you’ve imagined for yourself.

I truly believe (and I’m living proof!) that the only limitations for your life are the limiting beliefs in your mind.

I challenge you to write a list of 10 positive self-affirmations TODAY and make a commitment to repeat that list to yourself  at least twice on a daily basis for the remainder of 2010. If you practice positive daily affirmations already, I’d love to hear how they’ve improved your life in our comments section below!

That’s it for today… Stay tuned for the next episode of The Unemployed Millionaire Show: An Entrepreneur’s Guide to Lifestyle Freedom because I share exactly how our beliefs are shaped!

You said it, Matt. I strongly believe that beliefs come first and foremost before anything else can be changed. Actually, once we change the beliefs, all else will start to fall into place. Just like many people try endless diets that never bring results, so do many personal development programs never bring success. And we will blame the system, or diet, or whatever else, when it is our own thinking and beliefs that are not creating the desired circumstances.

Thanks for your awesome weekly motivations and updates. Keep it coming.

    Best Regards,
    Brian

    Matt,

I agree 100% brother! Looking back on everything I’ve accomplished in the past 3.5 years in this industry…

I always first became the “leader”, or the $zz,zzz/month earner, or the particular rank advancement in my mind & belief system BEFORE the physical results showed up in my life.

I appreciate all you do Matt!

PS – I’ve been to The Opryland-Nashville…it’s awesome…with I was there with ya!

    Aloha Matt,

Today I am unemployed. We shut GWE Group, Inc. down on December 17, 2009. I would like to secure a six figure income since my wife, Gayle and I are in bankruptcy under Chapter 13. In order for us to save our condo it will take some 60 months or more. My background has always been in IT. During the past year I have taken online course from Villanova University to learn as much as I could about Project Manager. I successfully completed the six courses that Villanova offered. This is the first time I have ever been unemployed. I believe it is harder on my wife than me. Sad…

      Dear Lloyd,

Be concern but do not worry. if you look back at history, Great man are born through tough times and not good times.

Perhaps you could apply Johnny Wimbrey quotes to your situation: “Adversity causes some to break, but others went on to become Record breakers!”

Do you want to become that Record Breaker?

    Matt!

    Once again great information.

I have already started to repeat my target state to me every morning and every night and it definitely helps me to be more effective daily in my journey towards my targets.

I will add those 10 positive self-affirmations to my routine right now.

Thanks again for an awesome show.

    Best Regards
    Eero

    Hi Matt,

Great post. Daily affirmations are one of my routines and yes, they’re making a difference in my life and helping me reach toward my goals. One of my affirmations is that I make a wonderful difference in the lives of others. Right now, I’m working on putting together a package (a fire sale of sorts) business book summaries and marketing resources and selling it for an aid organization in Haiti (a high school friend and her husband are working there, were there when the quake struck and immediately got water bottles and headed out with their pick axes) Their story is here http://mcc.org/stories/podcasts/world-shaken . If you’re able to contribute in any way with any information products or promoting it when it’s ready to go, please let me know. If you’re not, I totally understand.

    Hi Matt,

Another great motivational message. I am still reading your book and also a book called the power of the subconscious mind.

It’s truly amazing how our creator made and designed us. Like you stated we act in accordance to how we IMAGE or imagine ourselves.

I think back to sir Donald Trump, when he went bancrupt. Many people counted him out, but not the donald, he came back bigger and better. Why? because he had a strong belief and image of who he was supposed to be.

That is why it is so important, the company you keep and associate with.

i am looking foward to the reminder of this series of lessons.

    Hey Matt,

Odd seeing you so close to home. I drive
by the Opryland all the time on my way to
class. It is beautiful and that much more
motivating to make the money to travel like
    you do.

    Look forward to future episodes!

    Hi Matt,

This is so true.. Whatever you speaks has power, there is power in the words!

The words that comes out of your mouth affects your thoughts, feelings, actions and results.
