The Unemployed Millionaire Show: Episode 15
The third and most important way you shape your beliefs is what you say and think about yourself – your internal programming. Our subconscious mind absorbs every single word, action, and thought which leads to a negative or positive result for our self-identity…
The Unemployed Millionaire’s ‘Good Thought-Provoking’ Formula
Remember the “You are what you eat” commercials with the dancing fruit and vegetables that came on during Saturday morning cartoons? Those edutainment commercials introduce a super basic formula for a healthy body which is: good in, good out!
The same ‘Good in, Good out’ formula works with our subconscious mind – which does not know the difference between a truth and a lie! Our subconscious mind simply does its best to carry out exactly what you program it to believe. If you constantly tell yourself “you’re rich, you’re energized, and you’re excited” your subconscious mind will begin doing everything in its infinite power to create that reality.
Real-Life Evidence
Before I ever became a millionaire, I told myself “I’m a millionaire” thousands upon thousands of times. Every single time I caught myself saying “I’m so broke…” or “I’m so poor…”, I flipped my thoughts to “I’m so rich!” and “I’m a millionaire with confidence!”
Now I’m not saying to fake it ’til you make it. At the time, my conscious mind knew I was B.S.ing and I obviously did not speak my thoughts to other people. Eventually though, I programmed my subconscious mind to accept my positive, empowering statements as fact and I’ve made them my reality.
Creating Your Millionaire Reality
Starting right now, I want you to think of yourself as happy, confident, powerful, rich, successful, loving, giving or whatever else you want in your reality. Banish any thoughts that are dis-empowering to you and replace them with a thought that empowers you.
The quality of our life is determined by the questions we ask ourselves. So start asking yourself why you are happy, confident, powerful, rich, successful, et cetera and your mind will automatically generate positive answers for you.
Conclusion of The Unemployed Millionaire Show’s Belief Series
I introduced the belief system series with a look at the science behind beliefs and an overview of the law of consistency. The next 3 episodes explain the main ways our belief systems are shaped:
1. Life Experiences
2. What Other People Say/Have Said About You (External Programming)
3. What We Tell Ourselves (Internal Programming)
