The Unemployed Millionaire Show: Episode #9

Last month, I finally had a chance to take a vacation in Cancun, Mexico with my family for five days and four nights. The trip was incredible and made me realize (again!) that success is absolutely worth every minute of work and every sacrifice imaginable!

Join me and my daughter, Zara, on the beaches of Cancun in this episode of The Unemployed Millionaire Show:

Years ago when I set out to become a millionaire, I became committed doing whatever it takes to achieve my goals.

I reached my goal of becoming an Unemployed Millionaire a few years ago but I am still trying to achieve my goal of creating a plethora of Unemployed Millionaires so for 20 of 23 days between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I was away from home conducting trainings and success seminars.

The lifestyle that comes from creating your own success is worth every single minute of hard work and sacrifice. I love this quote about success from George Sheehan: “Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be.”

Considering what it takes to reach success, what are you willing to sacrifice and how hard are you willing to work to achieve the lifestyle of your dreams? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below.

    Matt,
Thanks for this video. Very inspirational. I’m on my way to realizing how far I can go by pushing myself. I have a goal to make a certain amount of money this month. I have never made this amount before in 1 month. I will have to push myself real far to achieve this goal. 2010 is our year to reach unthinkable heights.
    God bless.

    Matt,
Please would you list the business successes you had before making a million out of selling books and courses on how to make a million. Some of your stuff is hard to beleive and I want proof that you have made your millions at a real business.
    Bill

      Hey Bill,

I’ve actually never earned a million from selling books and courses on how to make a million. I make $1.60 per book sold and do these shows for free… One of these days I’ll do that, though ;)

My businesses have been geared around selling websites, leads, autoresponder services, network marketing and building the most popular personal development website on the internet.

If my stuff is hard to believe for you, take a look at WHY making millions is tough for you to believe. Might be an interesting exercise for you.

Have a great 2010 and be sure to read Chapter 3 of my book.

      Matt

Bill, I was a little bemused by your post. I know a lot of marketers show you screen shots of their paypal accounts etc on their hype filled sales pages, which I sometimes wonder if they are real anyway, but expecting Matt to list his achievements is a bit rich.

Please take this post as a little bit of social proof that Matt is the real deal. I first met him in the lobby of a London hotel half an hour before he was due to host a major event (which was related to a real business that Matt created). He didn’t know me from Adam but couldn’t have been nicer, a true gent and one of lifes givers. He had time for everyone after the event too for photos and a chat.

In fact, I flew from London to the US to attend a company training event not only for the world class training, but for the opportunity to spend some time in the company of Matt Morris & Johnny Wimbrey, & it was worth every penny.

Matt is now one of the corporate trainers for World Ventures, if you get the chance to go hear him speak, I would urge you to go & listen.

Wishing you every success & blessing in 2010

Chris, Good sticking up for someone who deserves to be supported.
Bill, do the exercise and HEAR loud and clear between the lines–Matt just turned your doubt of him into a blessing for you,…that’s right, his concern in this was for your future, not his,…! Do do you HEAR that? It is actions like this that make Matt the real deal.

Hey Matt, your videos are really inspirational to me and I just started watching them yesterday. I am preparing myself mentally and spiritually to be successful so what ever it takes to get there I’m ready for the journey.

Hey, you impressed me by not saying the “A” word in front of your daughter. Actually, I don’t like the word myself, but I’m glad you are respecting your daughter. God Bless

P.S. To me, Success is knowing and pleasing God. Extra money in nice, too, but not necessarily the most important measure of success. Keep your standards high in all areas, and success will follow.

  • Gay Weigelt

Very encouraging Matt. A registered nurse for 28 years, I’ve spent the last year trying my hand at becoming an independent self employed entrepreneur. So far it has been tough but I believe as long as I don’t quit and keep looking at the positive I will succeed. One day I hope to travel like you do and have the ability to help others acheive success too!

Success for me would/will be to own my own life financially, having the health and time freedom to enjoy it. Take vactaion with my children and granddaughter. To also help others reach that same goal. To give to God’s work!

Matt, loved having the opportunity to speak with you on the phone a couple days ago. I am passionate about achieving lifestyle freedom for myself and my family and your direction has made my pursuit much clearer. I’m really looking forward to the World Venture training seminar in Nashville next weekend.

    Hi Matt
Congratulations on finding unique ways of re-presenting yourself in my life. I appreciate (but am too busy to read) the weeking emails you send. To Bill up above…

it’s probably not really my place to say this…

but first of all, the business of selling books and learning courses IS a REAL BUSINESS!!

I wonder what your definition of a “real business” is?

And Matt made his millions through being an owner of his own internet based, network marketing company.

    Matt,
My vision for my first year in the business has not shifted an inch.Todate i have been tremendously encouraged to see you with your daughter on holiday. Hope to duplicate you one day. My greatest challenge for now is to get traffic in my team and create momentum.

  • Cheryl Baker

    Dear Matt,

I am so overwhelmed by all the online businesses and have burnt my fingers umpteen times. My greatest wish is to be able to look over your shoulders and copy what you do. Better still, I would love to be your assistant. I am ambitious, hardworking and diligent in what I do. I would be eternally grateful if you or someone can show me how to make at least $200/day initially without all the abilities to have to build a website, drive traffic, bog posts etc. It is all french to me. Is there something simple that I can do diligently each day to achieve this? My wish is to live abundantly and serve God’s people who are on the streets and provide decent shelter, clothing, warmth and food including a chance to rehabilitate themselves.

    God Bless,
    Cheryl

    Hi Matt,

Thanks for sharing your video with your lovely daughter. I love your final quote, “You never know how far you can go unless you push yourself too far. I am sitting here thinking I need to push myself further than what Im doing. Hard work does pay off, I am looking forward to the moment when it pays off.
