Its so true that failed action is better then no action. The greatest lesson I've learned through experiences with decision making is that when you decide something, even if it doesn't turn out the way you want it to, it has a way of keeping you in the game. Simply put, if you're indecisive and motionless you're out of the game, if you take action through decision you stay in the game. It keeps you in motion maintaining momentum and it keeps your brain working toward the solution whereas no action keeps you stumped and stagnant. Also as failure is inevitable it is essential as well. It provides excellent feedback for how you can not only make something work but continually improve its efficiency.

What i learned through experience with decision making is:firstly the decision is not a suggestion to put on table, its not an idea to share with the team and its finaly my life changing solution .In fact its like taking a horse to the river for water and at the end of the day you cant force it to drink. So becareful when coming to decision making, and dont under estimate you decision as a leader or a follower.

Failure, I hate it. Can't stand it. I am way to familiar with the word "failure". It makes most average folks quit or start another venture. Without failure there would be no success.<br>Paul

The greatest lesson as it pertains to decision making is this: It's important to consider not only the best and worst case scenario if you do something, but also the best and worst case scenario if you CHOOSE NOT TO do something. I've noticed that most times the worst case scenario is about the same but the best case scenario is often way better for one of the options.
