How to Harness The Power of a Positive Attitude

I once heard that “50 percent of your success is attitude. The other 50 percent is attitude!”

If that’s the case, it looks like the star of this week’s Motivational Monday has success all figured out… :)

Whether we realize it or not, we all have an amazing ability to transfer emotions.  Positive attitudes are just as contagious as negative ones and this video is proof.

People want to be surrounded by people who make them feel good. Great leaders have an amazing ability to make people feel better about themselves. A major way to do that is through your positive energy.

So how can you harness that positive energy and use it to create success?!?

It’s simple…  Spend a few minutes in front of the mirror every day listing everything that you like about your life!

    The only person that can make you move is you. I believe that life is full of choices. Choices to be happy, choices to be nice and choices to be a leader. The girl in the video chose to be happy about everything. I tell my children everyday, be a leader and make not good choices but great ones and I am counting on the fact that they hear my voice everytime they are in a controversal positioin. They have the choice to choose the correct path and stay happy.

    For me a positive attitude is something everybody owned. Only that is how they use it. For people who have a good attitude will be giving other people inspiration to move on and to use it to find their road to their happiness. Once you have this positive attitude or energy everything that you look for will be fulfilled one day later

    Hey Matt,

    I love that video – it's a great reminder of what we can have too if we focus on the good stuff. I keep a good attitude by remembering that good things flow from good thoughts, and bad thoughts – well you just don't want to go there!

    Matt that video was great! The one way I motivate myself when I feel My game might be a little off is to Seek Wisdom. I got that from an Andy Andrews Book called Mastering the 7 Decisions. Awesome!!!
    So when I feel off a listen to a motivational Disc or pick up a book from a motivational writer and read for a few minutes and yes it only takes a few minutes to reinvest in myself..And my feet hit the floor running again. BTW thanks for writing one of those books I pick up to pick me up!

    It is always a pleasure to read an article with a positive touch :)

    Here is how I see things: bottom line, life is not about what we have, what we do or who we are, but about how happy those thinks make us. At the end of the day, if we are not positive about those things, it is pretty much in vain.

    Happiness, optimism, enjoying ourselves can be cultivated from the outside and even more from the inside. I believe real mastery is in combining these two ways and creating careers, relationships, lives for ourselves which we feel positive about.

    We all start out with amazing skills and knowledge right from the moment we are born…Some of us lose these talents from our surroundings and the events we live through. While others hang on to them and develope them and become amazing or termed gifted…Your conscience is your inner voice or what is left of the gifted and talented new born(inner child). Learn to trust you “gut feelings” or “let your conscience be your guide”. Thinking positive will not get you anywhere unless you take action on the thoughts…And yes that girl is amazing and gifted in the video.

    Outstanding! A positive attitude is like a smile….when you share it with others you're more likely to get one back! My dad always said “No matter where you go, there you are!” So the only part of the equation that I have control over is me and my attitude! THANKS FOR THE GREAT REMINDER! HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY!

    I liked this little girl who went on and on about what she likes. She likes everything in her life.
    Most of us spend time looking for what we like before we even stop to like what we already have. I guese we would all be very happy if we started with liking what we have.

    Wow. What an amazing video. I didn’t just watch it; in fact I learned a lesson that if there’s a will, there’s a way. A human can achieve everything with a positive attitude. That attitude comes with a little practice in front of mirror (just like in the Video). Once you have it, you can achieve anything unless you attract negative energies by thinking negatively.
