Motivational Monday #61

This Motivational Monday reminded me of something you sometimes tend to forget once you reach a certain point of success.

It’s ALWAYS a progression. It’s ALWAYS a series of small things that piece together a much bigger picture that creates success. And YOU are ALWAYS the person who creates that picture, no matter what it looks like.

I know I certainly didn’t start off at the top and I had many challenges. When I was living from car and bathing in gas station bathrooms I could have easily given up but I had a powerful vision of where I wanted to be and what that meant for my life. Because my vision for what I wanted was so strong, those challenges turned into creative fuel for me to find new ways to continue to create my success, much of which looked nothing like success to me at the time. It’s what kept me going in those darker more challenging times and this fun little video is a great reminder that success is a continual process of frames or steps. One of frame or step sets up the opportunity for the next one and eventually when you have created enough frames and you piece them together you get a story that you created by your actions and you are the director and star of that story. You write the script, you create the plot and you control the action frame by frame, step by step.

It might take some time, and it might not always be easy but if you keep at it and you create enough frames or take enough steps you WILL create the story you want your life to become.

Watch this video and think about this…

The motion is nothing but a bunch of still frames with very minor changes pieced together

Wherever you are in your journey, always remember that the bigger your vision is, the more power it feeds into your life.

Enjoy!

P.S. Check out how they made this video and then post how many times you watch this video. I bet some people watch it 10 or more times! (I can almost guarantee that you’ll watch this more than once when you realize what it took to create it! Wow! Just WOW!)

Thanks Matt, I too am finding more creativity in myself through writing songs, writing for my blog, expressing myself with commenting, like here. But overall my desire to be me strings my creativity. Nothing comes easy, and why should it?

Thanks Matt. We all make our lives one frame at a time. What a GREAT way to make what we conceive to be big problems small and see hope for the future. GOD BLESS and thanks for crossing my lifes path…

Hi Matt.  The video was great, and it was a great song, but the making of the music video was even more impressive. This made me think about the people that dedicated their time and effort to making it.  Imagine if they just quit.  It took almost two years to complete the video, and just the thought of it would make most people say, “No thank you!”
Most people fail because they quit.  They look at the daunting task before them, at that point in time, and just lose their motivation.  Instead, it’s important, in my opinion, to know why you are doing something.  Am I doing it for my son, my daughter, my family.  Am I doing it because I have to have that bigger house, that Ferrari ;) , or I just don’t want to answer to a boss ever again.  Your why is more important than the how.  That’s what keeps you going.
I’ll end with one of my favorite quotes, “Your success depends on how many times you can fail and keep trying.”  To do this, you must have a strong enough why.

    All the best,

    Ed
