This week’s Motivational Monday Video is an intense reminder of how much we can accomplish when we simply focus on achieving our goals instead of letting all of the challenges and emotions that cloud our judgement get in the way…

Oftentimes, the hardest lesson to learn is that we don’t gain confidence in ourselves after we achieve success. Any successful person will most likely tell you that they worked really hard at building their confidence long before they became successful.

Belief is that leap of faith that will take you where you really want to be. To change what you believe about yourself, become conscious of any disempowering words  or thoughts that cross your mind and make an effort to flip them around to create an affirmation of what you want to become. Stop declaring anything negative about yourself to be true TODAY!

Take a look at what you want to improve in your own life and then honestly look at how you’ve created your identity through your words, thoughts, and actions. Create your own positive affirmations to repeat on a daily basis and they will become your reality before you know it.

“Watch your thoughts, they become your words. Watch your words, they become your actions. Watch your actions, they become your habits. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character for it will become your destiny.” – Frank Outlaw

If you have read The Unemployed Millionaire, then you know that I had to declare that I was a millionaire to myself thousands upon thousands of times before I actually became one.  My affirmations paid off and today I am vacationing in Cape Town, South Africa on one of the world’s most beautiful beaches (more on that in the next episode of The Unemployed Millionaire Show)!

This is just getting better, each and every day ... since a weekend in Orlando with EDIS ~ Sam Crowley / Scott Paton as guest speaker!

After listening to Les Brown [hilarious and just loved his testimony] I was impressed with the follow up of the video with the football team. All in the coaching, as many just fall into the wrong hands / under the direction of those who have their own issues to deal with, before passing on their hang ups [dream crushers due to their own painful state of enslavement to a 'JOB' / trash they had dumped into their minds while trying to grow up] to those who need their guidance / tough love sometimes.

With hearing the 'We [You] are a Champion' message, over and over again .... I add my cheerleading voice at this time and say:
'We are Champions! Conquers! & Coaches - who will lead our next generation across that finish line, to new horizons / open doors !! of planet earths awaiting treasures.' ~ even if some of those younger smarties got a head start on us, being raised with the Internet and all the other 'tech toys' that are out there / available to all that want / can afford them.

Merry Christmas ~ safe and happy holidays to you and your loved ones ~ and a joy filled 2010...as we go about our business, and bless countless others with our skills / knowledge and ability to lend a helping hand, in a hurting world needing our healing touch.

Keep well ~ and be blessed always ~ Matt, as you are an inspiration to countless others.

WOW!! I really shouldn't watch your videos at work because I always end up with tears running down my face and then my nose turns bright red (I could assist Rudolph!) Seriously, I am making sure to save your Motivational Mondays videos to view over and over again. I have made a lot of financial errors in the last few years and instead of getting myself out of the hole, I just made the hole into a crater! Fear and depression seem to have become my closest emotions as I have allowed myself to doom my own future with negative thoughts. I am my own worst enemy! My income is less than my outgo and I am close to losing my home. BUT I will NOT let that happen. I know that I am capable of turning my life around and living my dreams! I WILL SUCCEED!!
  • Great!
    No problem!

I need to get started and I think you can help.
I would like to work up to making about $5,000 amonth. How much will it cost me to get started, including marketing? I have started with an MLM, "SyntekGlobal" but I do not know how to market. So that is my greatest concern with another oppotunity.

    have u heard about Forever?

    Thanks

Success is just an extra mile away.
  • Thanks, Matt.

Perfect timing - just as I was sinking into depression and self-doubt. With God's help I can do succeed. Keep up the great inspiration and motivation.

    Bless you,

    Dave
  • Hi Dave, Wishing you the best of success. I have no doubt you have everything it takes and always remember that when things seem the darkest, it's simply God making you stronger.

  • Matt,

Just finished reading your book for the second time this week. Thank you for writing it. I read thousands of books on this topic and found yours finally refreshing and empowering.

I also enjoyed this video. I was inspired to tears. What a great way to start a Monday.

    Many blessings!

  • Matt, thats great.

You've done it again Matt. This video came at the right time just to remind me that I can do it and to keep going no matter what.

    THANK YOU!

This movie clip was a great reminder to each and every one of us. The words we speak to ourself and the words we hear from others is immensely powerful. The more I hear myself saying 'I can't' the smaller and insignificant I feel. How can we expect others to believe in our potential if we question it ourselves. As I watched the video, I could sense this deep burning within me - a sense of energy that I know I can be more than I am today and that the things I dream of I can accomplish if I would just stop telling myself 'I can't.' Many times in life we ourselves are our own obstacles. This weeks video helps emphasize that 'blind faith' and sheer determination can help guide us to extraordinary feats.

    Matt, thanks for the reminder.

May you all continue forward on the paths toward your dreams!
  • OMG - Matt that was POWERFUL. I am in tears.
Did you find yourself cheering along? I think this goes into my Daily list for Motivation!!

    Thank you
  • Hey Annette, I did!
I actually cried like a baby when I watched the entire movie - what an inspiration!
  • Noreen
    WOW!!!
  • Thank you Matt for encouraging all of us.

I have heard it said that "a person will only follow you if you can do more than they can, or know more than they do."

We all seem to know a great deal; we just have to find out how much we can do. Any ideas on how you can push us to go farther and do more when we are tired and hurting?
  • Reza
    Thank you Matt

You are a GIFT from God.

    Kind Regards
    Reza
  • absolutely awesome!!!!
  • The Kelly's
Matt, another great story to inspire others. The entire movie just is as great as this small segment. May God richly bless you as you bless others. The Kelly's.
  • Too often we are either told or think we know what our limitations are.

This is a powerful, awe-inspiring example of how far you can go with the encouragement of someone who believes in you and what you can achieve when the limitation has been removed.

    Sincerely,
    Terry

  • Thanks Matt for sharing this video and it is so true that we underestimate what we can do. Sometimes, we need a little encouragement to bring that to light, so surrounding ourselves with positive people and hearing the affirmation statements over and over will help us get there.
  • Susie
What a great lesson! Okay, I'm puttin' on my blinders and gettin' to work now.
    Thanks, Matt!
  • Bill Boehl
The law of attraction says if we are negative we will attract negative, but if we are positive we will attract positive. We need to guard our thoughts and our tongue so we always affirm a positive attitude. Like the coach said, we can influence others in our positive affirmations.

Thank you Matt, I am enjoying all the motivational Mondays to date, it is so easy to give up, watching the movie showed me that giving up is a choice but if you say focus and keeping believing in yourself and your dreams giving up should not be an option.
  • Etieno Etuk
Wow Matt, this is a very inspirational video. Thanks for putting this video out to encourage me that's it's possible to reach my full potential.
  • Eero Laak

  • wow think if we all just pushed our self to to limit What we can accomplish The World would be a Much Better Place and Matt Their would be no Hungry Kids in The World wow Thanks so Much Herman G thekoolstuff.com

Thanks again Matt, this video was very uplifting and an eye opener. Many times we have much more power than we think.
  • Thats right matt, speech is essential to directing the mind. which means a progressive person must be conscious of the words that they say ie the internal self talk) and your communication with others.

“The World is Emblematic. Parts of speech are metaphors because the whole of nature is a metaphor of the Human mind.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
