I know you can do this because…
How many times have you used those exact words and then filled in what comes after?
Not in an email, text or Facebook message…
But on the phone, zoom or face-to-face with one of your prospects?
Something like this…
Mary, I know you can do this because I’ve seen how good you are with people. I know how much of a heart you have to help people. I also know how ambitious and committed you are to always growing as a person. You can do this.
John, I know you can do this because I know what a hard worker you are. You have more charisma than almost anyone I’ve ever met and people are just naturally drawn to you. You can do this.
If you have a team, how many times have you used those exact words with a team member?
Something like…
Beth, I know you can do this because I’ve seen how committed you are. I’ve seen how much you’ve grown as a person. I see so much power in you because of the leader you’re becoming and I absolutely know you have what it takes to be one of the most powerful leaders in our company. You can do this.
So, my friend, how many times have you used those words?
Likely the answer is…
not enough.

Make these 7 simple words part of your regular conversations and watch what starts to happen.
Be honest with the words that follow. If what comes after is fluff and bullshit, it has no effect or even a negative effect.
Everyone has greatness inside them.
Think hard about the people you’re with and find the greatness inside them that they may not see in themselves and tell them what it is.
People need others to believe in them more than they believe in themself.
People will often rise to the level of belief you have in them.
So get good at believing in others and transferring your belief into them.
