Today is my 114th day in a row to write a content based blog post.
I have so many leaders and internet marketers who reach out to me asking me how the heck I can produce new content every single day like this.
Well, I’d love to tell you it’s because I’m a genius, that I have some super-human ability, or that I’m blessed with unnatural levels of creativity.
But that would certainly not be true.
I have people telling me that they could never be creative enough to come up with something new to train on every single day. Well, I hope to change your mind on that.
Commitment: The Key Secret to Achieving your Goals in Life
Today’s lesson is pretty simple…
You don’t lack creativity. You lack commitment.
Every major accomplishment in my life has come from commitment.
When, and only when, I get completely committed to a goal, I produce the creativity to find a way to achieve that goal.
When I was 24, I got completely committed to earning $2,000 per week in network marketing. I put goal cards in my car and all over my little one-bedroom apartment. I focused on the goal all day long and my commitment to it became an obsession.
Even though I had never gotten to even a full-time income, 90 days later I was earning $2,000 a week.
I had an idea back in 2001 to create one of the first internet network marketing systems. I had never so much as designed a website before. But because I made a total commitment to that goal, I got creative enough to find a business partner, find a programmer, and found a way to make it work. 35,000 customers and several million dollars later, I had crushed that goal and became one of the early pioneers in the online marketing space for network marketing.
At 27, I decided to launch my own network marketing company… Who starts their own network marketing company at 27?!
Because I got completely committed, I found the creativity and resources to make it happen and the company produced 108,000 customers over the next 5 years.
I could give you a bunch of other examples but hopefully you get the point…
If you can’t find anyone to sponsor into your network marketing company, it’s not because you don’t have the creativity or the means to do it… you just haven’t committed yourself strongly enough.
I’ve done this enough times to know that the creativity and resources only show up in full-force when you make a full commitment.
Total commitment + obsessive focus + massive effort = success
Follow that formula my friend and watch what starts to happen in your life.
