Dealing With Rejection in Network Marketing – Enemy #1

An interesting thing happens to you as push yourself beyond your comfort zone.

Once you realize that you’re no longer in your comfort zone and you accept that you’re not getting out of this new place outside your comfort zone anytime soon, your mind starts searching, even scrambling for ways to make it “OK”.

And as your mind starts searching for ways to make it “OK” you tap into archived wisdom, knowledge, strength, motivation, and inspiration that’s been kind of collecting metaphorical dust so to speak.

And on day 2 of my journey up Kilimanjaro, I was tapping into some pretty powerful personal lessons.

So I decided to record a special training series on the 4 truths or what you might call the 4 enemies of network marketing.

Obviously it makes sense that it’s a 4 part series and this is part 1.

The 4 Truths or “Enemies: of Network Marketing: (NOTE: When I say enemies, I’m not referring to things you want to stay away from at all. In fact, these truths only become enemies because people TRY to avoid them instead of embracing them)

1. Dealing with rejection in network marketing
2. COMING SOON
3. COMING SOON
4. COMING SOON

The first truth/enemy of network marketing = Dealing With Rejection in Network Marketing (Rejection is the #1 fear in the world)

So here’s the truth – In order to have huge success, you’re going to have to get rejected… A LOT!

And I’m not going to sugar coat it, dealing with rejection in network marketing is going to hurt, it hurts for everyone. When I got started I would only show the business to people I thought would enroll and do everything I could to avoid dealing with rejection in network marketing.

Dealing with rejection in network marketing is a different kind of fear for many people because it’s almost as if someone is telling you your dreams are destined to fail when in reality, just because someone else won’t do it, doesn’t mean that you can’t do it!

But we try at all cost to avoid dealing with rejection in network marketing and that’s exactly how and why this becomes an enemy.

See, if you try to avoid rejection or more specifically, dealing with rejection in network marketing you’re going to fail because you’re not going to show anybody your opportunity!

You’ve gotta be willing to just suck it up. Because in order to win and win big, you MUST go through the numbers. And that means… wait for it…

Dealing with rejection in network marketing because it’s 100% guaranteed that you WILL get rejected.

Don’t look at it as something negative, look at it for what it really is.

Just something that isn’t for you. Think of a waiter or waitress.

When they ask you if they want dessert and say say no, does that mean that:

Restaurants don’t work?
Desserts are a scam?
The server is a really bad server?

NO! It doesn’t mean any of that! That’s all ridiculous.

All it means is that you don’t want dessert.

You gotta look at your network marketing company as “dessert for life” and not everyone wants dessert for life.

I look at it this way. The more rejection I go through, the better the life I get to live…

Go after “enemy” #1, embrace “enemy” #1 go out and get rejected… A LOT! 🙂
