Dedication to Success, The Unemployed Millionaire Caught On Camera…
WARNING: Ego alert! Ego alert!
Stick with me through this first part, it’s as hard for me to write as it is for you to read and I promise, it’s NOT about inflating my ego… 😉
I have a list of achievements I can rattle off at any given moment and not just centered around money.
I’ve been interviewed on radio, in magazines, on TV, all over the Internet, spoke on stages all across the world, have an international best selling book.
I own multiple homes, exotic cars, take extravagant vacations, have an amazing wife and family, send my kids to the best schools money can buy and even better, educate them where the history actually happened!
I’ve helped so many people who have a strong dedication to success I’ve lost count, became a self made millionaire before I was 30, been blessed enough to be able to donate a whole bunch of money and time to charities, and lived a life overflowing with abundance, happiness, joy, and adventure and I’m only in my 30’s
I’ve created an amazing life and I don’t tell you this to feed my ego or brag, I tell you because I want you to know, you can do the EXACT same thing if you want to and if you have a strong dedication to success.
How is that possible?
Because I’m just a regular person, just like you. The only difference is, I committed to 100% dedication to success in my life and in doing that, the highlight reel the world sees of my success is pretty amazing.
But what you don’t see is the blooper reel I created while getting there so I wanted to share a little bit of that with you today because in reality, the highlight reel is just picking the peak moments out of the huge blooper reel.
And even for a person who has 100% dedication to success in their hearts, you can still get discouraged.
I’m more confident now than I ever have been in my life but it’s because my own dedication to success pushed me through those times of discouragement and made me realize something.
Most people only see the highlight reel of other peoples lives but anywhere there is a highlight reel there is also a blooper reel.
I think Michael Jordan said it best and I’m not sure if anyone has had more dedication to success and being the best they could be than Michael Jordan.
“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed” – Michael Jordan
So yea, I’ve created a lot of success in my life, but it’s only because had a dedication to success strong enough that I was willing to make every mistake in the book, sometimes twice, if that’s what it took to get there.
Realize that it’s never as smooth as you think it will be, there are always bumps in the road, and you’re going to screw up once or twice or 3,000 times but if you have that fierce dedication to success in your heart, you’ll see it as a journey where you’re busy making your blooper reel so you can pull out the peak moments that create the highlight reel because success is MUCH more about taking the shot than making the shot…
