I’m at the Great Wall of China — We’re actually at the highest point (at least the highest point for the area that we’re at), and the views are breathtaking. On the way up we were jogging a bit, and our legs started cramping up. So now, our legs are hurting and I thought… this is kind of like achieving success, and “getting the prize.”
Your journey is long to get to your goal, and you’re gonna have some pain most of the way. It may notnecessarily be physical pain, and a lot of cases it’s emotional pain. It’s people telling you you can’t do it. It’s rejection over and over and over again…but you know what’s interesting?
Once you get to the top all the pain that you felt along the way, somehow it seems really insignificant, and it definitely all seems worth it. When you’re going through that emotional pain, the rejection, the naysayers, and the doubters… and the self-doubt that you may go through.
If you’re anything like me, you go through self doubt, and you lack the belief that you really need and you deserve IT!
If you keep going, and if you fight through the pain, then the journey is completely worth it.
Getting the prize is that much sweeter. Looking forward to seeing you ALL at the top.
