The Hardest Challenge On The Path Of Success
When people ask me how I created the level of success I enjoy in my life today, I have a lot of different answers. But one thing I say always stands out like a mustard stain on a fresh white T-shirt.
Actually becoming a millionaire wasn’t that hard. The hardest thing about it was BELIEVING that I, Matt Morris, could actually do it! It was believing that it could “happen” to me that was the most challenging part, not actually doing it.
And when I reflect back to those times in my life, and coach others along their path of success, it always fascinates me at how incredibly obvious and simple the solution is to this VERY common challenge many, many people face.
See, just about the only thing that changed in my life from where I was, what I was, and who was to where I am, what I am, and who I am was my own perspective of myself. I always had all of the resource I needed. I always had access to plenty of the right people in my life. I always had the desire and drive to create success. But what I didn’t have was a real and solid perspective that I could actually build and create that kind of life for myself filled with all the financial success I could dream of and everything else that comes along with that.
And here’s the kicker, everyone ELSE saw it in me, everyone ELSE believed in me, everyone ELSE 100% knew I could, but the one person who matters most and who ultimately determines the outcome and results wasn’t 100% sure.
But the second I changed my perspective of myself to the point I could see myself creating this life, everything changed and it changed VERY fast!
So in this Motivational Monday I want to remind you that you are MUCH more than you may think. You are MUCH more than you might see. And you are already MUCH more than you need to be to create whatever kind of life and whatever level of success you want, we just need to get YOU to see that.
And when I saw this video I thought it would be a GREAT way for you to visualize how you see might see yourself and awaken a new perspective for you to look at yourself from plus:
It Reveals A Hidden “Gatekeeper” To Success…
Because at times, we are often our own worst critics and we see the world as we see ourselves, which can be very limiting when we are criticizing ourselves. And the powerful secret tucked away nice and tight in this message is, you can never really advance forward in any part of your life until you lift those limits you place on yourself that are 100% create by your own perspective of yourself.
And believe me, I know it’s not always an easy thing to do. You need great leaders, mentors, and people in your life who will accept nothing but the best you have, even if you think you’re already doing you best.
What many people fail to realize far to often is, the world sees the best in us, NOT the worst so when you “think” you’ve shown up to life with everything you have, you’re making that assessment based on how you see you and you probably still have a lot more to bring to the table.
And as you fill your life with amazing people who 100% know and are not even slightly afraid of how bright you can shine (this is SO important to do), you start to see what they see and you discover things about yourself that you never even knew existed.
You’re beautiful, compassionate, talented, wonderful, unique, and 1000% amazing and sometimes everyone else around you can see it but, you can’t.
When you look in the mirror, when you look in your heart, when you look in your mind, look for the physical beauty others see, look for the compassion and love that others find when they look at you, and look for the wisdom, humor, brightness, and ability others see in you when they look at you. And it’s 100% of to “borrow” their perspective of you if it serves you better than your own.
Because it’s there, like a perfect painting on a sturdy canvas and no matter how much dirt, mud, and crap you cover it with, your greatness is always there on that canvas. No matter what limitations are in your mind, with a couple of quick wipes you can clean up the garbage covering up how awesome you are and the heaviness of the limitations “hiding” who you really are places on your life.
And if you don’t believe me, just ask anyone else in your life! 🙂
