You know, I think I could use videos from shows like these for EVERY Motivational Monday!
They are really perfect for this because:
They show people taking HUGE risks for HUGE rewards
They show people being scared to death but doing it anyway…
They show people overcoming real and sometimes crippling fear REAL TIME on stage and on camera in front of millions of viewers…
They show people giving everything they have and tapping into the true berths of their hearts…
They show people actually using fear to build and create courage!
In essence, they show people doing ALL of the hard things that MUST be done in order to create success.
Look at this dude… A grown man who was so nervous and scared tears were forcing their way out of his eyes while he was trying with all of his might to NOT break down.
He was shaking so bad he could barely hold the mic!
He was told that “he wasn’t good enough and that he’d embarrass himself if he got on that stage”.
LESSON 1: People will tell you can’t, they’ll tell you you’ll fail, they’ll feed your deepest fears, and they’ll do it thinking they are “protecting you”. YOU CANNOT LISTEN TO THEM AND YOU MUST FOLLOW YOUR HEART!
He filled out an application 5 years in a row and ripped them up without sending them in 5 times! He let his fear win for 5 years before he finally got just enough courage to send it in.
LESSON 2: Just because you don’t get it right or perfect the first time, doesn’t mean it has to be the last time. Persistence and progress are the true keys to unlocking unstoppable success! You may not be able to do it now, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to do it ever…
And how did he get that courage? Through his support network, not form the haters who told him he wasn’t good enough or that he’d embarrass himself.
And in this case, his support network was his “Nan” proving that all it takes is one person to believe in you more than you believe in yourself to help you find the courage to take the chance so you can experience how great you are and find that internal belief that they already have.
LESSON 3: There are over 7 billion people on this earth. Find the ones that support you, that “get” what your passions and talents are, and that feed your soul with inspiration and courage to help you achieve your goal and when you do find them, cherish EVERY SINGLE SECOND you have them in your life. Be grateful, be open to receiving that love and support, and give them the gift of your success because that’s all they really want for you…
