This is a super short video but I had to share it because it has such an incredibly powerful message about creating success.
I’ve seen it a ton and I hear it every day…
People all around the world have huge dreams and talk with unbridled inspiration about the success they are working towards and it’s a thing of beauty but…
So many people fall just short of that metaphorical “hump” you must get over to realize, and physically experience, all of the joys that come with creating success.
See, it’s not “just” the money and all that the money can do for your life, it’s the personal satisfaction of overcoming the doubt, fear, and the VERY hidden belief that it can happen to people like me, but not to people “like you”.
I hear it all the time from people all around the world and I wonder, what does that even mean, “people like me”? What is so different about me or anyone else who has created the success they want in their lives from you?
The answer is NOTHING! The ONLY distinction I’ve seen as a constant is that people who are able to get over that “hump” simply leave themselves NO OTHER OPTIONS… PERIOD!
See, once you give yourself any kind of out, you’ve already lost before the game even starts because if you have a way out, you’ll take it!
When things get scary or too hard or you start to doubt yourself (all of the things that ALL of us go through on this journey to success including and especially the people who actually get over the hump), you’ll start looking for that ace up your sleeve that you tucked away “just in case”.
And I promise you, you’ll use that “way out”, no matter what it is, if you have it.
There’s that old saying that talks about burning the boat when you begin your journey of uncharted lands. It’s referring to a metaphor about sailing a boat to a new land with abundant possibilities, endless new opportunities, and a clean slate to do whatever you want.
The catch is, nothing is developed. You must create everything on that new land if you want anything at all.
And when people realize that, sometimes they get scared and doubt that they can survive so they get back in their boat and go back to where they came from as fast as they can.
In other words, they stay where they are at because they know how to survive in that place.
But…
If you burn the boat (metaphorically speaking), you leave yourself NO OTHER OPTION than to find a way to make it work. To find a way to not only survive, but to thrive on this new land.
And to simplify this analogy think of it like this:
Old land = Your current life and everything in it
New land = Everything you want that you do not currently have
Boat = Your vehicle to create that new stuff (Business opportunity, education, promotion at your job, Network marketing opportunity, etc…)
You MUST commit 100% to your goals, progress, and dreams with NO excuses about why you can’t do it, NO reasons why you’ll fail, and NO acceptance of ANYTHING other than achieving your dreams!
You MUST do whatever it takes to be certain that there are NO OTHER OPTIONS other than taking constant actions that lead you to the completion of your objective.
That can be financially, physically, spiritually, or anything else. The odds no longer matter, the obstacles are not going to stop you but rather, educate you you, expand your abilities, and make you strong enough to face the next obstacle on your path.
It’s a place where peoples words, judgement, and opinions are nothing but white noise that have absolutely NO meaning or impact on you.
You must make your passion and desire defy the odds. You must be willing to go so far out of your comfort zone that you don’t even have a map of that new place!
It’s not a place where challenge, frustration, and difficulty don’t exist, it’s a place where those things are your assets and you welcome them without fear but instead, with eager anticipation because you KNOW that those things are the real and tangible evidence that provide proof that you are on the right path and the challenge and difficulties are like puzzles that once figured out, empower you with new-found abilities to reach your goals faster and with more confidence.
In order to create the success in your life you want, you have to dig deeper than you think you can, and then, even deeper than that!
And it’s a quite place inside of all of us that we keep hidden and protected and secret from the rest of the world.
It’s a place where nothing can hurt you, fear doesn’t exist, failure isn’t even a real word, and a condensed, super massive force of power, is the only thing that resides in the very core of your soul.
It’s the place where, when you reach it, the world can sense it and every resource you need floods your life, every skill you need is forged through the challenges and effort you put forth to KEEP PROGRESSING towards your goals and desires.
It’s a place in the deepest depths of your heart and soul that gives you the power to make the world bend to your will, your desires, and your needs.
There is a certain tranquility in that place that comes from an esoteric knowing that when you are at that place you CANNOT fail!
It’s intimidating to some, inspiring to others, and respected by ALL.
Words don’t matter in this place. You don’t need to say a thing and still, everyone around you will willingly serve you out of respect and admiration because they get a glimpse of that very same power they would love to tap into in their own lives.
It’s a place where there is NO OUT! The only destination is your objective.
And it’s that massive power that drives ordinary people like me who are in no way shape or from groomed for any of the success I enjoy today with my friends and family.
And from my experience, there is only one way to get that kind of power that can get you over the metaphorical hump that separates success from failure…
NEVER EVER give yourself a way out. No excuses. No alternatives. No other options. The only thing that is real is reaching those goals and I think this short little video displays that message perfectly.
