Teach People Personal Development to Become a Great Leader.
Everything rises and falls with leadership. And you’re never going to get to the pinnacle of network marketing until you become a great leader.
And there’s a great John Maxwell quote that says: “People are always anxious to change their circumstances but they are unwilling to change their lives therefore they remain bound”.
Now, being a great leader, you naturally want to teach tactics. Tactics are important for sure. I teach lots of tactics in my videos but if tactics were enough, everyone be rich, skinny and happy.
The other component is Personal development. When your team comes to you for leadership, help them become great by expanding their ability to excel using the tactics you teach because you teach them personal development.
Focusing on teaching people personal development is an absolute must. Personal development teaches them how to become a greater person, how to become the best they can become, and then expanding who they are so they can become even better!
One of the ways you can help teach people personal development is tell them to read a book. Recommend a book focused on personal development in the area they need to grow and tell them to read it and get back to you to have a conversation about what they got out of it.
Tactics alone don’t create great leaders, personal development work is the missing piece to the success puzzle for nearly everyone who is failing with tactics alone.
