Powerful Message about You and Your Limitations

Devon and I went for a run this morning around White Rock Lake here in Dallas with Bella.

Bella is our neurotic, yet amazingly adorable and loving Golden Doodle. (More about Bella another time)

As we got about a mile in, which is where I started to hit my stride and stopped feeling like I needed to just lay down on the side of the trail, I started thinking about my blog post for you today.

Unlike a couple days ago when I couldn’t think of anything to say, today the message is crystal clear… and super powerful if you’ll absorb it.

You know my story – I struggled for 5 years before I got to a full-time income.

When it hit, it hit big and I went from broke to $40,000 a month in six months.

There are a lot of reasons for that, but this is a big one…

I finally understood that what I thought was holding me back was actually my greatest strength.

My upline and mentor Wayne was the single most talented networker I had ever met. He was sharp dressed, amazingly outgoing and zero fear when it came to prospecting, an incredible salesperson, masterful on stage, and super deep and enlightening in his ability to train others.

Me?

I didn’t really have any of that going for me.

I had never had success in MLM, didn’t have any super nice clothes, was shy, scared to speak on stage and had never coached anyone to success.

I felt like there would be no way I could ever make as much money as him.

Powerful Message I Realized About Me and My Limitations

But for whatever reason, maybe it was something he told me, I realized something powerful…

My weaknesses are actually what make me able to relate to people on a level that more successful people never could.

BECAUSE I was lacking in so many areas, I could relate to all the people who were also lacking in those areas… IF, and only IF, I was willing to go out and do the work.

So I decided to make a run…

I stopped dipping my toe in the water and went all in and worked like a maniac.

Use your Weaknesses as a Great Tool to Relate to the other People

I stopped feeling like I had to hide from my weaknesses. Instead, I used them as a tool for me to relate to other people.

If someone had never had success, I could say “me too”
If someone was shy, I could say “me too”
If someone was afraid to speak in public, I could say “me too”

And that is when I started crushing it.

Over time, I stopped being so shy, stopped being afraid of public speaking, started having fancy clothes and the credibility of success.

But I’ve never forgotten where I came from and which is why I can tell you with complete confidence…

What you think is holding you back is actually your greatest strength.

If you’ll wake up and understand that YOU have the unique ability to relate to people in a way that no one else in the world can, that’s when you’ll step into your power.

When you let it click inside your mind that your lack of belief, lack of success, self-doubt, fear, or whatever you have that’s been holding you back is EXACTLY what will allow you to lead and inspire powerfully, that’s when you’ll be able to move past all of those things.

And when you do move past those things and develop unshakeable belief, prosperity, and extreme confidence…

Don’t forget where you came from.

When you forget where you came from, you lose the power to inspire people to move beyond their self-imposed limitations.

More than anything, what I want you to know is…

You can do this.
