Stuck in the Planning Phase – Motivational Monday

The number of creative, innovative, amazing people in the world is astounding. The number of people who never start anything to capitalize on their ideas, is even more astounding. They’re stuck in the planning phase.

You know its a great idea – You’ve gone through the creative process of solving a problem, but that’s it. If it hasn’t happened already, you can sit on your hands and think about how great your product is all day long, but eventually you’re going to see it on the shelf with someone else’s name on it. It’s heartbreaking. You’ll say to yourself “Wow, I can’t believe I thought of that.” or “I thought of that first.” What a consolation prize – Nothing place with no money or recognition to show for it. It sucks and it means nothing.

There is a flip side to never starting – It’s actually doing something. You will be rewarded greatly when you start solving peoples problems.

If your dream is to do something you love, this is how you do it. Embrace your creativity, develop a process, and reward yourself for your innovation and amazing talent.

Don’t get stuck in the planning phase.
