Was Henry right?
One of the most popular quotes repeated by many of the greatest speakers, authors, and multi-millionaires for the past 100 years has been this quote by Henry Ford:
“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – You’re right.”
Essentially, it all boils down to a choice.
Do you believe in yourself or not.
Here’s the challenge.
Most over-complicate this.
Most think that you must have a bunch of reasons to believe in yourself.
- The gift of gab
- Natural leadership
- Past experience or success
- Charm, charisma, etc…
While those things may increase someone’s ability to believe in themself, none of them are required.
There is only one thing you need to believe in yourself.
Just a simple choice of saying “Yes” or “No”.
“But MATT, it can’t be that simple!”
Argue for your limitations and your limitations will control you.
Argue for your greatness and your greatness will control you.
I spent several years justifying my lack of belief…
Too young, no credibility, not smart enough, not a good communicator, etc.
And as long as I chose to let those hold me back, they did.
When I finally realized all I had to do was intensely believe in myself, SUCCESS became simple.
From 5 years of struggle, to millionaire at 29.
What was the reason I flipped from lack of believe to massive belief?
How do you do the same?
Make a decision to believe in yourself for no reason other than you choose to.
