When you hear success stories and stories of leadership development, they have a few common factors: They started doing something, they failed way more than they expected, they continued learning, and finally gain some traction. This is a successful story – one where, whoever started the journey, can live comfortably for happy ever after.
When you hear great success stories, they have a few extra steps. They gain some traction, they continue learning, they find a mentor, fail way more than expected, and before they know it, they’ve left the stratosphere. Their success sky rockets them way beyond their imagination.
Both stories have a few common factors.
These people, in creating success, have become leaders. They started. The hardest part of the journey can be the first step. Not only did they take the first step, they failed time and time again but continued moving forward. They didn’t stop when they were comfortable, they found a mentor and kept going until they achieved victory.
