Network Marketing is not a rational business.
Not at all.
What works in the traditional business world, does not work the same in MLM.
This is why I’ve had so many powerful corporate business leaders, even powerful CEO’s fail on my teams over the last 25 years.
We are leading a 100% commission only based volunteer army.
What moves network marketers is very different than what moves salaried employees.
In the corporate world, you can be logical as a leader because it’s logical for most people to have a job. It’s what people are programmed for. We’ve all heard it so many times we can recite it in our sleep…
Go to school, get good grades, go to college, so you can get a good JOB.
How to Effectively Lead your Network Marketing Team to Success
Network Marketing is different – it’s not logical for most to venture out as an entrepreneur.
So as leaders, we can’t lead in the same logical ways.
- If you want people to follow you…
- If you want people to be inspired by you…
- If you want to inspire and move yourself…
You must lead with FIRE & CERTAINTY.
You see, corporate CEO’s don’t have to lead with FIRE because their staff will follow orders and take action simply because of a paycheck.
Your downline however, needs more than “orders” to take action. If you want them to take action, you have to break through the logical brain and lead with excitement and FIRE.
And listen:
I’m not saying you have to be hyped up like you just mainlined a quart of Red Bull.
But you certainly can’t lead with logic.
Remember this. People don’t want a leader who only appeals to their logic. They want a leader who will stir their blood!
If you’re going to make a mistake…
Make the mistake of being too excited versus the mistake of being too logical.
So ask yourself this…
Over the past month, how would you rate your levels of fire & certainty?
