How to Find your Life’s Purpose?

After 20+ years of speaking and coaching, a question I’m often asked is how to find your life’s purpose. That question is usually coming from a feeling of emptiness and a search for meaning.
I can relate because, despite being a #1 income earner in my twenties, traveling the world, and having insane levels of recognition and respect, I felt like there must be a deeper meaning to life.
That longing for more caused me to do a deep dive into purpose. I could write an entire book on the topic… and I go much deeper in my M-School program at https://www.overcometheobjection.com/coaching-7-weeks where I walk you through the process to create a powerful life’s purpose.
But lemme just give you something to chew on here…
Motivation Tip: You don’t find your life’s purpose. You CREATE your life’s purpose.
If you’re waiting to find your purpose, you may end up searching your entire life.
Like most things in life, you commit and decide what that purpose is. You can ask yourself simple things like:
- What do I love to do?
- What inspires me?
- If I was independently wealthy, what would I do without being paid for it?
- What do I find myself thinking about all the time?
- What keeps me up at night?
- What is it that’s worth overcoming the struggle?
- What makes me feel significant and fulfilled?
- If I was going to die today, what would I want to be remembered for?
Once you’ve answered those questions, you’ll likely have some things that have nothing to do with making money which is fine. Part of your life’s purpose can be outside of money. Part of my life’s purpose is to be a hero for my children.
But we gotta eat, right?
So find something in the answer to all of those questions that will allow you to become wealthy.
For me, it’s pretty simple. I know God put me on this earth to touch, move and inspire entrepreneurs (namely network marketers) to become powerful leaders.
Not only do I receive immense levels of fulfillment from contributing towards the lives of others… I’m also paid millions to do so. It’s what makes network marketing such an amazing business model.
Now here’s where the question usually comes…
Matt, how do you know that’s why God put you on the earth?
Simple. I just decided it.
You see, I believe God gives us the power to create our own purpose.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve never had God or any inner voice tell me, “Matt, your purpose is to touch move and inspire…”
Nope. I had to have the intestinal fortitude to invent it on my own just like everything else.
Because I believe God is the ultimate power…
If He created me, I must be unbelievably powerful. And because I believe how powerful I am, I walk with uncommon levels of strength and power.
One of the reasons I believe I’m able to empower entrepreneurs to step into much higher levels of leadership, is because I believe everyone else has the same power that I do.
For most of the readers of my blog here, I believe in your power more than you believe in your power.
I know you can do it more than you know you can do it.
When you see the strength in you that I see in you, you’ll lead like the Queen or King you are.
Don’t let that Queen or King stay in hiding any longer than you have to.
Let’s do BIG things!
