Before we get to the $25,000 closing strategy in network marketing…
A quick note…
First…
This is not just a closing strategy in network marketing…
It’s a closing strategy you can use if you’re in any type of sales.
I just put “in network marketing” because it helps my SEO… Whoops (;
Second…
In case you’ve listened to a network marketing trainer or leader tell you something like, “We don’t sell, we share!”
(Said in the airiest fairy accent I can muster up)
Let me just let you in on something that any REAL leader will admit…
We freaking SELL!
It may not be typical selling.
In fact, I agree that in our profession it’s more sorting than selling.
But make no mistake…
If your goal is to get someone to buy something, it’s selling!
So we should all be professionals and get GOOD at selling.
Now, let’s look into this $25k closing strategy in network marketing
And this is a little golden nugget I learned from one of the best marketers on the planet, Ken McCarthy…
Pretend like whatever you’re selling has a price tag of $25,000.
Whether your product/service is $25 or $2,500, act as if it really costs $25,000.
Think about what you’re selling…
If it really costs $25,000, what would you need to say (honestly and ethically) that would justify your prospect paying $25,000?
When you put yourself in this mindset, you will naturally start thinking of more benefits and more of the end result your product can provide for people.
Trust me on this and do this:
Think of your product and ask yourself,
“What would I have to say and do to justify selling it for $25,000?”
And then write down everything that comes to you.
Do this and you will be a much better salesperson!
How I’ve sold hundreds of travel memberships for approximately $400…
Once I’ve gone through all the product offerings, I want to sell not just the features, but more importantly the benefits and the end result.
This is important.
I want people to think, even if this product costs $25,000 it would be worth it.
I’ll have Everyone think of the BEST vacation they’ve even been on.
Then think back to the BEST moment of that vacation and I have people tell me their answers.
I hear things like…
-The first time my child swam in the ocean
-Swimming with the dolphins with my daughter
-Crying on the top of Mt Kilimanjaro
-Seeing the pyramids in Giza
-Valentine’s day candlelight dinner on the beach
Etc
Play along…
What was the best memory/moment of a vacation that you’ve had?
I then ask everyone, “How much would I have to pay you to erase that memory from your mind?”
The answer is always the same, “You couldn’t.”
I then, of course, offer $5 million dollars and a few would gladly give up the memory for that much.
Then I keep going down…
Guess what…
No one, EVER, has agreed to erase their memory for $25,000 or less.
I then tell them that when they own our membership, they will vacation more and create more peak memories like the ones they just shared.
By NOT owning our membership, they will MISS OUT on creating as many of those priceless moments in the future.
I go through a few more things but you get the idea.
Because I’m acting as if my product really costs $25,000, I find ways to make the product SO MUCH MORE emotionally attractive.
Listen, you can apply this to just about any product or service if you’ll just take the time to think about all the reasons to justify a $25,000 price tag.
Use this $25,000 closing strategy in your network marketing business and watch your business and closing ratio grow!
