Why Do Sometimes We Self-Sabotage?
You know half the reason I write so many blog posts?
As I teach you, I teach myself.
I have lots of reasons to make excuses between 3 young children, multiple businesses and investments, employees, hundreds of thousands of people in my organization, etc.
Sometimes I let these “excuses” prevent me from doing what I know needs to be done. (working out, writing my next book, planning date-nights with my love, etc)
I’ll tell you what I tell myself.
“The only thing holding you back from accomplishing what you desire is that you haven’t made it a priority”
How to Stop Self-Sabotage Behavior
Instead of allowing your inner-excuse maker to use the word “can’t”, replace it with “won’t.”
Instead of saying “I can’t work out today” replace it with “I won’t work out today”.
Because if we’re honest, you CAN workout. You just won’t.
You can write that book. You just won’t.
You can make time to be a great father or mother, you just won’t.
If it feels like I’m beating you up, I’m really beating myself up.
Love you,
