A few years ago I decided to put together a boys trip. We ended up calling it the “Alpha Male Adventure Club” as every man in the group was a top performer in business.

Even though I wasn’t a hiker and had never climbed a mountain of any size before, El Mateo’s brilliant idea here was to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

If you’re gonna go, go big, right? 🙂

I reached out to my buddies and issued the challenge inviting them on the trip.

And in typical Alpha Male fashion, they accepted. There were 14 of us in total.

I could write a month-long series of emails with lessons gained from this trip. No other experience (training event, seminar, book, audio, etc) gave me more insights into success than this expedition.

Devon and I were taking a walk yesterday morning and both decided we felt like a road-trip. So we found an awesome little (kinda big actually) cabin here in Fredericksburg, TX in a Swiss inspired resort.

I’m here sipping coffee overlooking the beautiful creek feeling so blessed for the freedom that network marketing provides. Life is good!

A coach helps people go from where they are to where they want to be. Part of that coaching process is teaching the fundamental skills:

• Finding people to talk to

• Inviting

• Presenting

• Following up and closing

• Getting new reps started

• Event promotion, etc.

Gotta be quick here. Normally I can’t reply to the dozens of messages I receive daily but I see your desire and commitment. Now we’ll see if you’re coachable…

First off – shave. Your facial hair is scraggly and makes you look like a young thug. You could likely never recruit a professional looking the way you do. (Most would never be honest though and tell you) If you still have the tongue ring, take it out and throw it away. Present yourself so that someone my age would say “damn this kid is sharp as hell.”
